05-2025 Aristophanes Freling: Ari is the first model so far that has had the privilege of being airbrushed instead of having been colored with basic acrylics. This is because his base is an RFM brand Challenger 2 TES model - which is not the model that he is, mind you, but I'd been looking for a Chally model for a long while and this was the first one I found at a reasonable price secondhand. Because of this, I did have to forgo using quite a few parts from the kit, but I'm still really pleased with how he turned out!
10-2024 thru 01-2025 Eadi Adler: Eadi is a pretty special - and expensive - case as far as my models from this point in time go, given the fact that he's a fully custom model and 3D print! The model was designed by my friend Doug7070, and then printed by a friend of his and shipped to me. It really was a wonderful experience getting to see him materialize from a few of my [now comparably simplistic] drawings into an actual model I could hold in my hands - and you can tell I was excited because I didn't bother to smooth him out before painting him - oops
08-2024 Bluebell: Bluebell, like Aristaeus, isn't a pre-existing character since I didn't actually have an M60 character at the time of making her or as of writing out this caption. This meant I had another opportunity to take some artistic liberties with her paint scheme, and I'm a huge fan of the route I took with her. Her main colors are based off the coat of a blue roan horse, complete with the dark speckles across her hull, and I was specifically inspired by the horse 'Bluebell' from Star Stable Online [wow funny horse game] for the blue accent color that she has. And the name, too.
04-2024 thru 05-2024 Aristaeus/Ava: Since I didn't have an F-4 Phantom II character when I made her, I decided that I could really go crazy with Ava's colors, which are inspired by a few oversaturated photos of a European Bee-Eater bird. She's also the first model that I decided to make eyes and arms for, which was pretty fun to figure out! At the time of writing this she's also the only model with any clothing, but I'd like to change that in the future if I have the time/motivation.
